Hello, we are having some issues with scanning a room. Some of the edges on the frames that are situated in the room are blurred. Please see the pictures attached. We changed the scanning height, lightning, added more scanning postions, nothing helped.Still this mistakes on the edges. They only appear, we you stand directly in the point infront. Any solutions? Thanks in advance! Regards |

@concept20_Milan Thank you for joining the We Get Around Network Forum and for your first post. First time I have seen this problem reported in the WGAN Forum. Have you tried re-submitting the model for processing again? Dan |

@DanSmigrod Thanks for the welcome, beeing a silent observer of the forum for longer, great topics So we re-submitted it a couple of times. With different scanning heights, different lighting, always the same problem. I checked some of our other scannings, and now that i looked at it in detail, i saw the blur also in other scannings. We did not realise it before that much, because we did not have a completly black background. Example: clickable text clickable text We are using the Pro 2 Camera. |

@concept20_Milan Could it be light reflecting from a window (that could be fixed by shooting at a different time of day? @MatterFix Your thoughts? Calibration issue? Dan |

@DanSmigrod So the scan on the first pictures is in a studio room, just led lights, optimized for camera productions. We also tried with additional warm white lightning. Some of our other scans are during sunlight, some of them at night time. You can always see it. |

@concept20_Milan A workaround would be to have @Listing3D (Listing3D) retouch the 360s and insert them back into the Matterport tour. Would that be helpful? Dan |

@concept20_Milan How do your images look in the capture app? There are 6 vertical seams in each 360...how well are those aligned when you view them in the capture app? If you're seeing misalignment in the images when viewed in the capture app, that is usually the cause of alignment problems or errors in the model. The types of problem you're experiencing usually have to do with the fact that the camera's internal frame or one of the drive train components is out of place or bent. Sometimes these problems can be solved by replacing bent or damaged components, but sometimes the only solution is to send the camera back to Matterport for an RMA exchange...in the US this typically costs about $600. | ||
