As many of you know, I'm a veteran Matterport Service Partner (shooting with Matterport since 2015). I put this presentation on Matterport together in 2018, and because the internet is kind-of amazing like that, I found it yesterday, and decided to give it a whirl and see how this talk holds in terms of what's changed and what hasn't in the last 4-5 years. So you can learn a bit about the early days using Matterport, and some reflections on how it's evolved. Spoiler alert - there has not been a new Matterport camera since 2017 - so that hasn't changed, but I do have a few reflections on other updates. I also walk you through how to get started really quickly with the Matterport system and explain the camera to you - very basic explanations, but good for new Matterport users...and I am still wondering if anyone else had a Matterport Pro1 in China before I brought one in September 2016! Anyone out there?
