@AYODELE looks perfect mate well done. Just trim and clean the model with the trimming tool so your floor plan will look cleaner. In the auditorium I would have shot between the seat rows to fill in the floor plan view and dollhouse. But don't worry about the dollhouse its just a gimmick not a lot of viewers use it. How ling did it take you on average per scan point including hiding from the camera , and how far apart could you capture with out it giving you alignment errors ? And what was your total of scan points before editing ? |

I have very little experience, shot only two Matterport tours with a Ricoh SC2. But in the process of completing the tours, I watched almost every tutorial video on the Matterport Support site and a handful of YouTube how-to videos. It looks to me that there are windows (left side of your model on Floor 1) where window/glass doors were not masked out with the tool. ThinkLab mentioned the trim tool. That may be the tool to use to draw a line on the floorplan. There is also some "bleed" (my term) on a couple doorways that lead into brightly lit halls. That may be why you are seeing the two white "cones" near the center bottom of the floorplan. Check the lower right corner, too, where there are bright windows at the back of the bathroom. There are a lot of windows in that building! On the fourth floor there may be some windows on the left side of the floorplan that are causing some bleed. See if using the window mask tool could address that. Looks like a big job! I just did a single-family home with 7,500 square feet, my first residential property. I took over 300 scans! Jumping in the deep end of the pool! |

I really liked how the camera picked up the very tall ceilings in the main atrium. Hopefully you can eventually move up to a pro 2 which will add so much more depth and clarity to the images, but for mid range Theta, you should be proud of your work. The dollhouse is a little scratchy for me, but just like real estate photographers who only focus on drone images and videos and think that the doll house is everything... It's not. People want to see inside the buildings and dwellings. The rest is fluff in my opinion. |

Sorry for the delayed responses. I would appreciate getting some resources on how to clean up the model using the trim tool and the tool for masking the windows. And yeah there are a lot of TALL WINDOWS on the property. The tour took over 300 scan points. Alignment issues were definitely a pain as well as hiding from the camera. Really exhausting workflow. Yes Dan is courtesy as well. Thanks Dan. |

Video: Marking Windows, Mirrors, and Trim | Video courtesy of Matterport YouTube Channel | 22 January 2021 Here is a 2-minute video about how to mark windows and mirrors in the capture app. Pretty simple to execute. After you make these changes in your Capture app, the model will need to be uploaded again. Keep at it! |
