Hi everyone, I'm working with Matterport pro2 for 4-5 weeks now and i'm going to scan a last floor of big building + rooftop. I always try to avoid scanning outsides as the light sensitivity of the pro2 sometimes makes dollhouses bug. So i wanted to anticipate and ask if you'd have any recommendation, as i must scan this rooftop outside without any bug in "one shot". I already had trouble scanning "normal" houses : sometimes floors are merged for no reason, or different rooms of a dollhouse are completely merged. _ Do you have any idea of what the render could look like (interior last floor + rooftop)? I don't really know what to expect ... To be safe i'm going to scan it with 360 points too but i would really love it to be full dollhouse. Thanks by advance for your kind advices. |

And, thanks for asking. Tips 1. Outdoor Scanning - if the Matterport Pro2 3D Camera can see the sun, you WILL have problems. Even if there are clouds "blocking" the sun, you WILL still have problems. If you need 360 scans to create the dollhouse view, scan either BEFORE the sunrises or AFTER the sunrises. If there is a building blocking the sun, you will be fine. 2. Try shooting the rooftop outdoor photos with a Theta Z1 or similar 360 camera that's compatible with Matterport. | ||
