What is considered too large for a single Matterport Pro 2 job? I have a 9,800 sq ft clinic to shoot this week and am concerned about the the space not uploading. I have watched the Matterport video on this and did not find it useful. It is unclear in the video how you would break up a scan even though they suggest doing this for large spaces. If anyone could also share this technique it would be great. Ken |

That is good to know. I have done a bunch of large spaces with IGuide with no issues. Matterport sends contradictory messages about this.

@kwreece biggest space I have done was just over 1600 scans over 2 days with a Pro 1 , get a power bank. Also make sure your iPad has enough RAM , or it will crash and capture app will keep reloading. If that happens do two three extra scans back from your location and create a new model from your 1st point of your three points. Maybe also inform Matterport when you have a model they have to stitch as they don't like doing it and has cost people their jobs at Matterport that was trying to help us with these issues. Good luck with your scanning will be a breeze if you have the Pro2 |

Regarding the power bank, I did not think you can run the Matterport Pro 2 off remote power. Am I mistaken about that? I carry one just in case the iPad runs low.

The power bank is for the iPAD. A-B-C (Always be charging your iPad while scanning. You will likely need to charge the iPad while scanning to be able to complete the 10,000 SQ FT project. Best, Dan |
