| Heya! And welcome! BTW I've got mine coming over too which I used the aus post shopmate for which seems a mistake. I don't want to write out all the issue but my camera is stranded at the US warehouse since last Thursday because I updated my email on the aus post account and it has glitched out the system. Has been very frustrating trying to get them to get it all fixed and am worried it will be damaged as it is just sitting around for a week or more.. Lesson learned is to go with a company that does it all themselves and does not used 3rd parties to contract out too. Edit* Is the packaging as done normally fine for o/s travel? Or did you all get extra packaging done? |

| Hi Rob, Mine arrived a couple of months ago, and at the time it was around a week for Matterport to ship - I went for the basic shipping, so that took another week within the US. Then there's the "long haul" to Oz. All up I think it was about three and a half weeks including Aus customs clearance. Where r u based? Brendan. |

| Good news guys. Realestate.com.au have today released changes to our desktop and mobile web that will make listings with 3D tours really standout. When a 3D tour is provided via one of our 'virtual tour' URLs we now display the listing with a 3D icon in search results and on the property detail page. | Thanks, that is great news. Where are you based Garvidson? Got my first job on Monday, camera arrived yesterday, so doing a few practice runs over next few days on our place and a friends. I charged $1000 for a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom average sized house, and the Real Estate Agent didn't even baulk at it. Are you guys charging similar? How's your website coming along Brendan, I'm told mine will be finished by the end of the week.... Cheers Rob |

| @garvidson Thanks for the update. Looks awesome. I assume we continue to add the links in the virtual tour section as per normal and it gets picked up in the backend? My listings don't have the new format yet. Will this only be on listing in the future I guess? Also any idea if this will be rolled out to realcommercial? @RobV wow $1000 for a 4 bedroom. Let us know if you get any more at that price. |

| @Marcel That's correct - continue to send via tour urls. What is the domain used for your 3D tours? We have to identify them as 3D so potentially they are not being picked up. It is possible Commercial will pick this up in future but no plans just yet. |

| Looks like they running their own version of the webgl player. Most probably got it from that guy from Sydney that reverse engineered the player a while back and got banned. Did you see how fast the model loads! Running the models from a local server is awesome. |

| I'm learning every minute today Marcel, only got my camera yesterday and have completed a friends 2 bedroom unit today...in preparation for my first real job on Monday. I had an issue scanning in the bathroom, the first scan in the doorway of the bathroom worked fine...I marked the mirror, but then I could not get any other scan to align in the bathroom...I must of rescanned it 15 times. Deleted old scans for the area and started again each time. It was small bathroom with a glass enclosed shower like most would be in an apartment. Have you had this happen before? Any tips would be appreciated. Thanks Rob |

| Haha.. yeah mate.. all the time. All you can do is keep on trying to scan closer to the last scan.. in extreme cases you may need to cover the mirror with a sheet of something.. but I've never had to do this.. good luck on monday. |

| @RobV Hey Rob when having issues like that in the bathroom you can try lowering the tripod so that the camera doesn't see the mirror then try raising it back up after you get past the mirror and go into the shower - I've found that helps to get around the issue - not ideal but hey whatever works right! | ||

You can check out www.showcaseskins.com for matterport skins that show more information on your property. It doesnt remove or hide the matterport logo though. They are proud to support matterport  |
