Updating a Tour1554

BestViewImaging private msg quote post Address this user
Hello, I'm hoping someone on here can help me.

We did a 3D tour for a home that is being listed for sale. The homeowner has decided to make some upgrades to the home and wants them to be reflected in the 3D Tour.

Is it possible to update/replace scans within an existing tour? Or would the entire tour have to be done over?

Does anyone have any experience with this issue?

@BestViewImaging

You can add/change a 3D tour. Simply find a space that has not changed so that the alignment can happen.

While I have done this a number of times, it has taken up to 45 minutes to get that alignment, so do not give up.

About to start a call. I will insert an example later of changing from daytime inside and nighttime outside.

Yeah like Dan said, the initial scan when you restart may be challenging.
The best thing to do is start close to the new Scanning area and work your way into it. Remember to make sure you have sufficient scan locations to ensure a smooth walk through.
Once this has been completed you will be going into workshop and disabling/hiding the unwanted locations. Go inot the standard view once it's done and verify everything went well.
If you have time and scans (less than 100 total, or if over 100 dont worry) then grab some extras in the area to be safe

Like both Jamie and Dan have pointed out it may take some time, I have gone in an added a few scans and they have immediately taken, I have had a few where I had to scan several times from different Heights or positions to get it to take. Good luck
