Hi, I have just realized anyone can access any public model and open it in worshop. Nothing can really be modified, BUT, measurements can be taken... This could be an issue for some specific clients (not in the real estate business). By leaving the model private, I suppose noone can access the model, but then the link for the virtual tour doesn't work. So how do you keep a tour semi-private so that only a few can access it, AND, so that noone can open it in Workshop? A very quick fix for my problem would be not to be able to open someone else's model in workshop (I find this very weird that it is allowed). Thanks for your input on this, Matt |

So nobody is concerned that all of your public models out there can be accessed and opened by anyone in their own Workshop? What is the point of allowing this by the way? So some outside companies can make 3D floor plans easier (if so, just give that company a specific private access)? What else can it be good for? |

If you go to one of your models then swap out the model id of a model you don't own in the url, you can access the photos that were captured and load the workshop with that model.

Yes @JonJ ... this is what I'm talking about. Do you think this is normal/acceptable? Why would it even be useful for someone to go and download/use my snapshots, or walk in my model and see what scans I disabled, etc... I find this overly intrusive (and it is a security breach and major problem from one of my clients).

Hmm, is it possible to do measurements in these models? could be handy for inviting real estate agencies to do their measurements without the need inviting them all as collaborators?

Well, they'd have to have a My.Matterport account I think (which I also think/hope is only available to Matterport Camera owners).
