| Hello, Just wondering how you would cost out a scan for a building that has a big hole in the middle? Inside the building there is a rectangular border walkway around the hole. The walkway length is 227 sq.ft and width 107 sq.ft x 2 essentially i.e. 23,540 sf.t total. It took 100 scans to complete it. Client is saying the hole in the middle doesn't count. Thanks. Lee  |

| From the picture you provide in the first post and the value of length 227ft and width 107ft. We can estimated the center hole is 213.6ft length x 76ft width = 16,234 sqft. So the total sqft of your Pro2 covered is 23,540 - 16,224 = 7,316 sqft by estimated. |

| In my opinion, this type of job should be quoted based on time & expenses not by sq ft. I scanned a 300,000 sq ft high school with basically a big hole in a lot of places...see dollhouse view. I didn't go into every room, but did go down 3/4 of a mile of hallways to make everything work. I walked the job, calculated what it would take to complete and gave them one price.
