Hi there, I have a client who I am doing some work for who has asked if I can superimpose a render of one of the buildings he is constructing onto a picture (or a render of a picture) so that it represents what it will really look like when constructed (surroundings included). Any ideas? (these pictures are examples he sent me) Thanks, Liam |

If you have the 3d model of the new structure you can use the background photo in sketchup-photo match.

I was doing this in the late 1980s. I made the covers of 3 CADD magazines. it's really simple to do these days, unlike then when an 800 MB external drive cost $750. And virtual memory did not exist. And you had to configure your SCSI terminals correctly. It requires an expertise in perspective construction and lots of other stuff.
