Squarespace no longer supporting Matterport?14355

I have a fairly simple Squarespace site with 3 pages - Home, Virtual Tours, Contact.

The homepage consists of an embedded Matterport tour and some text. The virtual tours page consists of multiple embedded Matterport tours.

When I last updated my site a couple of months ago it was easy to embed a Matterport 3D model on the site - simply a case of pasting the url and it worked.

However, this morning, upon attempting to change the model on my homepage to a new one, I got a message indicating that the content cannot be located.

So my homepage is now left without any content displayed in the video block!

The weird thing is, the virtual tours page still works as before (the previously embedded clips still work). However, if I attempt to switch them out for newer/better content I will get the 'cannot be located' message.

I contacted Squarespace and they told me Matterport isn't supported!

Has anyone here encountered a similar issue? Is there a workaround?

Hi
That link is all about video. As if you were adding a YouTube video with a simple URL. So it would be logical that it would not work.

When my clients are using Squarespace, we have just inserted a html block and pasted in the embed code and it has worked and is still working.

BTW, do not use matterport links, use embed always. With links you are sending your visitors away from your website. It is a very bad idea in digital marketing.
