| The stock market cannot touch home valuation so all my investments go right back into my house. It's funny when I hear the news say that the stock market is down. Somebody should tell them the reason the stock market is down is because people are taking profits. In the full retail price of every stock listed is a fake number and that money does not exist that's why stocks plummet when people start taking money out because there's not enough money to pay them. |

| What a bloodbath. I bought it $20 originally. Watched it go down initially and then back up to all time highs around mid 30s and I was an idiot and held. I did bail out when it hit 23 so I did make a little money. But wow lately, total blood bath. I'm thinking about getting back in though. Although there's quite a bit of scary articles out there advising not to. | ||

| Matterport needs to detach themselves from any Metaverse ideas. I think it is mostly dragged down by Facebook fails because a few commented initially that it will benefit from it. This alone is a very bold statement. I cannot even imagine that Matterport will ever dare to give any 3D tour to Facebook without seeking permissions from a photographer who has done it. |

| @Wingman I agree fully with you. Who spends time in the META verse , who has the hardware. Its just a pipe dream, I see this is going to tank very quickly. You remember when Matterport launched VR , we all got excited of our nuts for this, then what happened , clients did not want to buy headsets and the Google Cardboard was such a cheap and low quality experience. I predicted back then that maybe in 10 years time people will start adopting VR. So the adoption rate was maybe 1% for VR Matterport. But must say when I viewed it in. decent headset was like wow. But why did it never take off ? Peoples attention is on that little black screen in your hand, so you have to build something that will work on that. Yes a bunch of geeks will buy VR headsets and get lost in the "meta" verses. Who on this forum spends 4 - 6 hours per day in the Metaverse ? If we get to those numbers I would say they are gaining traction, but they will have to create a $59,99 - $99.99 headset or they will never capture this market , to consumer forget about your prosumers for a bit. Its getting average Joe stuck in the Metaverse. This meme sums up what an ethical company was :  |
