| When we have large repetitive spaces we use the BLK360 and it's a piece of cake. The BLK works really well on these even without using AprilTags. A bit longer per scan of course but the area of coverage is much larger and you don't have the dreaded "loss of alignment" issues. I don't think I've had one yet that tried to align anywhere except where the scan was done. With Matterports on these, trying numerous "methods", it's still come up a challenge too often. If Matterport only? - Be glad AprilTags are free to print and get some in my opinion. Especially since large repetitive spaces are often floor to ceiling glass and columns, looking to show views out windows, and too large to capture without sun streaming in some of the windows before you can finish.... | ||
