Then I came to a Insta360 one X2 and after to an Phase S2 to make panos in one ride. After testing a lot of software solutions I ordered 3DVista and I'm happy with it. | Hi everyone. My name is Meg. I've been living a simple life in Central America for the past six years and have come back to the US because I need to make some money. I am an ex Real Estate Agent and as I've been stuying to get my liscense again I've been researching technology changes and I ran across Matterport and this site. My desire is to work smarter, not harder and I'm becoming very interested in 3D Scanners. I have lots to learn and lots of questions. I'm impressed by the vibe of this site and forum, I sense that it is a good place to learn and connect. I am starting to think going into commercial RE and learning to scan commercial property (with something like the Leica BLK360) might be a way to work smarter. I would love to here about thoughts on building a business around commercial scanning. Who has done it, how hard was it to get going and what is it like? Grateful to be a part of this forum. Thanks in advance for time taken to share your stories and experience with me. |

| Hello All, my name is Jay. I'm a photographer/videographer based on Colorado Springs, CO. I've been making my living as a full-time creative since 2017. I've been curious about Matterport and don't quite understand whether it is truly sustainable. Based on what I've experienced with real estate agents I don't see how many would be willing to pay enough for it to make sense. I'm also concerned about how the company Matterport seems too involved in your business. It seems if they change something crucial it could tank your business, which seems very MLM to me. You're not really in charge of your business. Is the dollhouse effect really that compelling? It looks cool, but it's basically an intro before someone starts a virtual tour. These are just my observations and I'm here to discover what is really going on and whether it's a good investment for my business. Cheers Jay |

| Hi! My name is Diego, I've been working with the Matterport Platform for just over 1 year. I'm Brazilian and we've done a lot of work here. I started my journey with a Samsung camera, I did some work with it, along with the Kuula Platform, which was the one I liked the most. Later I bought a Go Pro Fusion to improve the quality of my work and thank God I managed to evolve to Matterport. Where I was super satisfied with the progress of the work. | Hi my name is Michael Greenleaf. Originally an associate producer based in Seattle for a med sized "multimedia company" during the DotCom bubble in the late 90's, I later based myself in San Francisco (Usability, UI and UX) Miami Beach (AirBnb, ecommerce, and web design), and finally as a program manager at Microsoft in Redmond WA. I've see my fair share of great (and not so great start ups either crash and burn or become billion dollar cash cows.) I ended becoming a Technical Program Manager and a interactive designer and project manager based on my experience at the Art School of Seattle, and later as a marketing manager, but innovation has always been a the top of the food chain in regards to what gets me going. Ended working many gigs for Microsoft, so I've seen them big and small (interesting and not so interesting projects). Mixed Reality reminds of the same excitement that was generated during the Web craze , and so again I am working with other people to see if we can assist in innovating the field. We have currently received funding for our 360 VR 4k virtual tour works in real estate/hospitality using Matterport, but I am mostly interested in the merging of true 3D models created by the likes of Zephyr 3d and other disruptive or soon to be disruptive technologies in mixed reality. Hoping this group can help in the gathering the insight for our company, which I believe it needs to stake additional steps in order to differential ourselves in this competitive field. | ||
