| Hi everyone -- Just discovered this forum after owning the !atterport for about 3-4 months. I'm a real estate salesperson with Keller Williams NYC (Manhattan) and my team focuses on New Developments/Condo Conversions as well as luxury real estate. We've done about 15 scans to date and we're building a new website to help showcase the models. One area I'm particularly intrigued by is converting the highlight reels into videos which can be used in social media. | Hi @Sedry welcome. There is a great deal of information and sharing on thE MUG. Had a look at your videos. I haven't started down that track but one of my real estate agents has suggested that a video would be worth producing for the seller / buyer post sale as a momento. So welcome again. |

| Hi. I have created an SaaS tool that goes great with the Matterport product. This software allows you to make any Video, Image, map, Drone fly over etc,Interactive (plus much more). So as the video or image shows the front door (Or anywhere you want) a window pops up that displays the Matterport 3D video in it. They never have to leave the screen and can quickly play any area they want to see the 3D video for. If interested just let me know and I can show you a sample etc. So many uses. | Hi Everyone, I am a new Matterport service provider, located in Nantucket, MA and Vail, CO. I used to offer virtual tours using iPix technology, but with this new Matterport camera I think my fisheye lens will become a paperweight on my desk! I am an entrepreneur, real estate investor and owner of two vacation rental companies. Oh, and I just had my first child 4 months ago! | Hi everyone, I am new to Matterport. I live in Narvik, Norway. I got my MAtterport camera in december 2015 and have done 10-15 models so far. I use it mainly as a supplement in my business as a real estate photographer, and it is a very powerful marketing tool! I also market it towards museums, hotels and other tourist-attractions in my area as an add-on to stills. I made a 3D-scan of the local war museum here in Narvik (believe it or not, Narvik was strategic for the nazis during the war) and I (and the museum director!) is amazed over how large model you can make from the camera. http://www.punsvikfoto.no/blog-1/2016/1/24/har-du-vaert-paa-krigsmuseet-i-narvik (Website only in norwegian, but I guess you get the point...) -Kalle. |

| Hello All! This is Chuck from Castle Rock, CO. Although my background is not in photography (it’s actually in Banking) a number of my neighbors are real estate as agents, brokers and developers who have showed a great deal of interest in 3D interactive presentations. I have side hobby which is a aerial drone inspection business (should be getting my FAA 333 exemption any day) and thought it would be a good idea to give the Matterport a try and expand the services offered to include not only the outside but also the inside! Time will only tell. The forum is great and very informative. If you know anyone needing 3D service in the Denver or surrounding areas, give me shout out. Cheers Chuck |
