Hi Guys, I've landed to a bigger project than i usually do. The project is a warehouse ( partial occupied ) with a total space (aprox ): 15K SF with 20FT ceiling ( and 2 huge doors).MY monopod goes up to 5.5FT. Was wondering if i have any issues doing an MP model with Ricoh Theta Z1 in this case? Any feedback is appreciated. Thank You |

I would only use MP Pro2 with a BLK. | ||

It is plausible. This space was a little larger than that. This wasn't a paid gig this just happened to be the last convention I was able to attend before things got shut down. There are a couple minor misalignments in this model. When shooting with a 360 camera the best advise I could offer is to over shoot shoot more scan positions closer together when in doubt. Should you see any miss-placed scan positions delete them immediately and move closer to the last successful scan position |

@Atriux A battery bank would also be recommended ~ a riser will give you access to the USB C port while shooting the usb cable can be ran down the monopod and you can attach the battery with tape, velcro, or whatever is handy. |

@Atriux You'll find marking up Matterport Models on the iPad a lot less tedious then trying to mark them up on an iPhone screen |

I've been using Matterport cameras on everything. This week, I had a time crunch and went Theta Z1 on a mansion with an indoor basketball court (18K sq ft / Ipad Pro). Windy weather and shorter days weren't helping with timing. I was shocked to see the Z1 on Matterport use less battery than Zillow tours and only using one portable battery power bank for the day. I think you can pull it off as long as the warehouse isn't full of traffic. Watch your ipad constantly in case of a misalignment error. Don't get greedy with distanced shots. If you get a misalignment message saying to scan closer. Delete the shot, bring it in and shoot again. |
