As long as the shopping experience incl. buy option, cart etc. is not possible in the 3D tour without a flood of mattertags it´s no digital twin where you want to shop. That´s very bad UX. For now a good shopping experience needs SDK and much work and therefore is far too expensive for most retail shops. They should partner with shopify for this and offer a very ready to go SDK example which can be easily customised. Otherwise I would go to show 3D in my shop with 3D products and AR features. |

Ferguson Bath, Kitchen, and Lighting Gallery, which has 250 showrooms across the U.S., has digitized 70 local showrooms using Matterport’s technology, with plans to add another 60, reports Fast Company. |
