I haven’t scanned in about a week but today scanning a 5 storey office block with lots of south facing glass There are no black areas. Did Matterport fix this in the last capture app update? Delightled |

I have had this happen many times. It’s a classic indication that the glass has been tinted/coated with a filter for UV/IR. This is done to help save on energy costs as it keeps the interior cooler. Some of these coatings have ND value as well, functioning like sunglasses, but some are completely in the non-visible spectrum. | ||
