| Currently everyone has the workshop 2.0.something. Matterport has been making minor updates to their Workshop 2.0 fixing bugs in it, and improving the quality of their images. This does have more features than the initial workshop classic. The future workshop updates should bring the anticipated " Mattertags" among other things. | ||

| So, for clarification, the Matterport Platform includes: 1. Matterport Pro 3D Camera – various, unadvertised versions of the Camera. (The camera has always been called "Matterport Pro 3D Camera"  Depending on "which version of the Camera" likely determines which version of the "firmware" update that gets pushed to your iPad to update. (This update is done via the Matterport Capture App.)2. Matterport Capture App - V2.1.6 last updated 8 February 2016 3. Matterport Cloud – processing and hosting (web-based / no version numbers published those updates announced and posted in this MUG Forum thread: Matterport eBlasts to Pro 3D Camera Owners 4. Matterport Portal – Manage workflow, account and content 5. Matterport Workshop 2.0 (User Guide) – accessed within the Matterport Portal – Matterport announced Version 2.0 in October 2015. That said, Mattertags and professional floor plans are still not commercially available, though both are in beta and available to beta testers. 6. Matterport 3D Showcase – this is the "player" that runs Matterport 3D Showcases within WebGL – no version number. Always current. 7. Matterport VR Showcase Beta (Available now in Beta) - VR models are either in the publicly available Matterport VR Showcase app or available via "side-loading" (Samsung Smartphone device ID must be baked into the VR for it to load onto your Samsung smartphone. 8. Project Tango - Matterport brings 3D Capture to Mobile – announced but not yet released - likely to be iOS and Android. Likely to have version numbers. Likely to require a next generation smartphone or table that includes a sensor chip that works with the other sensors in the device, including the camera. 9. Matterport Design Studio – the Holy Grail. Edit 3D Showcase. Change floor coverings. Wall covering and add, delete, change, move furniture. I recall seeing this on the Matterport website as early as July 2014. Announced but not yet released. No longer promoted on the Matterport website, though https://vimeo.com/82704796[/vimeo]]this video is on the Matterport Vimeo channel from July 2014. Clear as mud? Did I miss something?
