quick question on Theta V12850

| Hello Everyone, I received my Theta V yesterday. I'm only going to use it for floor plan add on's instead of our Matterport. In order to get a good floorplan, do I just take one 360 in each room? (with doors to other rooms visible). If it is a large room, should I do two scans to improve accuracy. Will these floorplans with 3rd party vendors show measurements? How precise are they compared to MP? Thanks in advance. Doug |

| @fotoguy If using the Theta V within the Matterport ecosystem you will need to scan just like using a Matterport camera & you may even need additional scan positions if looking for accurate floor plans. I typically only inform folks that while these floor plans are fairly accurate they are meant for marketing purposes only |

 2D Floor Plan created by Asteroom. @fotoguy Use Asteroom. You just need one 360 in each room; plus line-of-sight between 360s (hallways). Write down the height of the lens to the floor. | @fotoguy Currently, all these 3rd parties will need the actual 3D tour to create a floor plan ~ CubiCasa may be another option though it too requires scanning the home with a phone |

| Thank you Dan. That's the answer I was looking for. I have a house to photograph in an hour. I want to try the theta V out and have a floor plan done. Hoping I can upsell it to the realtor after it's done. | ||
