I have been shooting Asteroom tours for about a year and a half. At first I was shooting with iPhone 7 and the Asteroom software was in it's infancy. They had just shown at CES and gotten great reviews from Forbes Magazine if I remember right. Since I was close by Asteroom HQ, I was asked to try the system out and give a little feedback. Turns out I had a lot to say and Eric took notes. So many of the elements I was concerned with were addressed, and later versions have gotten better and better each time. I am happy to say that one of my first tours was in the gallery, and thankfully, it is gone now. I upgraded to iPhone 11 Promax and that made a HUGE difference! The camera is sooo much better than previous versions, and if you are going to use a phone for these tours, the promax version is by far the best choice in the apple lineup at this point. So, here's a recent tour of a lovely home for you to see. This is an Eichler in Palo Alto, CA. It's an iconic home and truly defines this builder's vision. Elements that were standard were open floor plans, floor to ceiling windows, radiant heating, and the idea of bringing the outside in. They were built cheap and fast. It's amazing to see the cult like status they have today. Enjoy! |
