Hello, Is it possible to upload a custom static image that is shown at the beginning of a tour? The image that is shown with the play button. I know it is possible to change this image to a snapshot taking from within the tour. However I would like to use an image not available within the tour. I did a boat and the client would like the exterior profile photo of the boat used as the static image at the beginning. I am guessing it is something done on the website level. Perhaps there is a plugin I can purchase? Thanks for your thoughts! |

Hi Dan, I just had a look. Looks great! I will reach out to them as I did not see an example of changing the static image. I do see adding a custom logo to the start screen. Also I am guess if this will only work if the client has wordpress for their site as they will be embedding the tour into their website. Thanks again |

Screen Grab: WP3D Models WordPress Plugin | Adding a static image to replace the Matterport default image @jonah Please see above. While you need WP3D Models WordPress Plugin to do this, those that you share the embedded code do not. Another simple route is to take an image (supplied by the client). In Photoshop add an arrow like the Matterport one in the middle. Place the image on the web site with a link behind the image to the tour. This will open the tour usually in a new tab at full browser size. Simple, neat and easy. I use it quite often when clients are struggling with web designers. |

You can also change the image that populates when putting the link in FB using WP3D Models as well. | ||

Thanks Charles & 3SixtyNow! The photoshopped image with a link is a great idea. However, I believe they may need the tour embedded on their site without opening a new link. Either way I am covered with WP3D Models or just the static image with a link. Thank you all for the ideas! |
