Inman (17 July 202) Homes are selling at the fastest rate ever recorded by Zillow

"Homes are typically selling just 20 days after hitting the market, according to a weekly market survey published Thursday by Zillow," reports Inman.

"It’s the shortest span ever recorded by the Seattle-based real estate tech company and it’s resulting in fewer price cuts and rising home prices," reports Inman.

"“As surprising as it might have seemed at the time, sellers who forged ahead with listing their homes this spring were richly rewarded, when buyers buoyed by record-low mortgage rates flooded their listings with offers,” said Jeff Tucker, Zillow economist,"' reports Inman.

I encourage you to review the original weekly market survey report by Zillow.

It's all likely excellent news for Matterport Service Providers and real estate agents/brokers.

Your thoughts?

Dan

And this direct from the Zillow report:

"Small uptick in new listings not enough to keep up with demand"

✓ In the week ending July 11, new listings grew 2.1% from the previous week, a much-needed increase in a market starved for inventory.
✓ Despite more new listings coming onto the market, total inventory still fell 1.1% from a week earlier, a sign that buyer demand is outpacing the flow of new listings.
