Have you experienced this? If so what solution do you recommend?

I recently sent a realtor the "High Resoltion photo's from Matterport. I sent the "maximun pixel" version from Matterport.

However, I received this message from the realtor Listing Concierge Coordinator.

"I am reviewing your order for ....... and it looks like it doesn’t have high resolution photos. Right now the photos in Listing Concierge are low resolution and these may come out blurry/fuzzy in the marketing materials.

To ensure your marketing materials look the best they can be, please delete this set and upload the high resolution versions. If you have the email that your photographer sent you, you will want to download the high res, print quality files and upload them in the “Photos” section of Listing Concierge.

We’re looking for Hi-Res photo info, we’re looking for a resolution of at least 3000 x 2000 pixels and a DPI of at least 300."

Have you experienced this? If so what solution do you recommend?

I look in the forum but didn't find a similar situation.

I did see a discussion about "WP3DModels". Would this help? If so do I need a "Forum Promo Code" to use the service?

@kolendaj
I believe that the high resolution photos on Matterport is only for digital products not printed.
At least that's what I tell my clients

Best

To get good MP photos, you must download at max resolution, and you must edit them! I use photoshop but there’s others. Sharpen, crop and size to the end user’s specs. MP wants you to believe this is a snap and go solution. It ain’t. It’s capable of great things, but not by itself.

I always adjust all Matterport stills in Lightroom, and edit some of those in Photoshop if required.

There’s another issue! Some browsers resize images when the client downloads them. The solution is to download them one at a time or as a folder, I don’t remember. I think one at a time. (This is from Dropbox)

Great information on the browser download.
I will confirm the realtor forwarded the correct files. I know the Photos I sent meet the pixel requirement. However they are at 72 dpi not 300. If I change the dpi sitting in Photoshop will that address the issue?

Are you sure someone at their end didn't grab thumbnails? Happens frequently enough as a "user error" issue in our experience that I thought I'd mention it. Indeed, the Matterport images are all over the map size-wise - but they're certainly large enough - Harlan's right about the re-sizing and cropping - Matterports are way too wide and need to have the ends lopped off a bit...we won't get into the 72dpi vs 300dpi "image quality issue" because fortunately they're not complaining about that! But it seems they grabbed thumbnails to me...

Narvan thank you for the input. I will confirm the Listing Concierge is using the actual file and not a "thumbnail'. My only concern is they did reference that fact the files needed to be "at least 300dpi".
Do you think the fact the Matterport files are "only" 72 dpi (as delivered from Matterport) could be an issue?

I have just checked stills grabbed from a Matterport tour and downloaded recently in max resolution. Most of them are 7680 x 4380 at 96 dpi

I believe their resolution depends on the zoom you used when you grabbed them. This one is 6068x3413

I resampled it to 300 DPI keeping the same resolution and it looks ok

I have never heard of browser resizing pictures while downloading them but email software can do it.

Update... I resized the original Matterport photo's from 72 dpi to 300 dpi (in Photoshop).
The Listing Concierge said the photo's were "perfect".
Lesson learned.
Thank you all for the help.
