Mozilla Hubs is a VR chatroom designed for every headset and browser, but it is also an open source project that explores how communication in mixed reality can come to life. In this demo, the building is a model originated from a real Matterport 3D scan (specifically, the OBJ from the Matterpak). Inside, we staged the room with more objects, including a smaller MP 3D model and a 360 photosphere. To try this experiment, use your PC or VR headset browser and connect to http://bit.ly/mphubs We disabled some features to keep the experience clean.
