I am just looking at what I have done already and there is another one big residential job coming this Friday. I am thinking about getting some case study from the clients I have done the tours for already. If I have case studies at least for the one I have done that may really help to get smaller clients on board.

What will be a way to get a case study from a client or how do you usually ask for it?

It is not just a feedback/review that can be 1-3 sentences and it may require some effort & time from a client to write it. So asking directly for it seems to be a bit over the top for me.

@Wingman

How about using your smart phone and recording an onsite:

✓ shout-out for you/your business
✓ talking about how they will use the content that you are creating
✓ (if you get the shout-out you could transcribe a quote in text too)

Okay?

The best time to do the smartphone video is while you are on-sight at the end of all your work.

For ongoing clients, you may find that that are willing to do a shout-out video that talks about their success using your visual storytelling services.

I could imagine that you will run into some clients that do not want to participate because they do not want to clue-in their competitors about using you. 90 percent should be fine with the above.

Please do keep us posts about your success with shout-out videos?

Dan
