Available Scan of New Construction1159

I seem to recall seeing a scan of new construction / unfinished space with studs on this forum. Does anyone have a scan that they are willing to share preferably of a office building that's under construction / no drywall?
Thanks in advance!

I just came up with an idea! Looking at this scan I though, wouldn't it be awesome if builders could provide a pre-drywall 3D Scan to the buyers of the home?

As I think about that, my only question that would remain would be, how would we make that scan available forever. This would be a great tool for homeowners to know exactly where everything is located inside their walls.

Dan... whatchyathink?

If you want to offer a service like this which I think is a very good idea you would be far better off shooting pano's of each room as you can host them or even offer them to the home owner to save on their PC, NAS or memory stick.

If you offered this service in a MP format and your were very successful and shot 1,000 homes you would have to pay a fortune to MP monthly for ever. The other issue is MP going to be around in 5 or 10 years as technology makes gigantic leaps each year you may be in for a lawsuit if you can no longer deliver the goods.

This is just my take on the pre-drywall scan business
