| @sdandphoto Yes. Matterport 3D Showcase Tours can be converted to Matterport VR Beta (here). As @Tosolini noted, today (16 January 2016), Matterport only supports Samsung Gear VR. That said, I imagine that Matterport will support other head mounted devices, such as Google Cardboard. | I signed up for the beta of this new VR authoring system: http://www.instavr.co/ I haven't tested it yet, but it seems that the direction of these tools is to lower the barrier of entry by using a drag & drop UI and package together little apps. This wouldn't work with MP anyway, unless you get creative and slice a 3D model into various videos linked together from a menu. Still not a full MP experience. |
