I have a commercial property that I scanned last year using Matterport. At the time the site had a few pieces of furniture but now they have all the offices furnished. Can I update the offices without having to scan the entire property again? I believe i can but have not done this before. Has anyone run into this before? How did they solve the problem? |

@jpierce360 as long as you have the original file on your ipad, you can 1) make two duplicates of the model, then go into the rooms where the office has changed and scan on top of the old scans. (try to set the room up as close to what it was before) If the scans take you are good. You can then switch off the old scans in workshop and you will have a new updated tour. OR/AND 2) at the same time you can go into the other duplicate and delete scans that were in the old room and just rescan those scans. So you could potentially do both at the same time, as you can scan in multiple models at the same time. With 1) the dollhouse may look a little strange, whereas 2) the dollhouse should look good. Hope that helps. |
