How to do a Matterport scan when the place has a high ceiling?

	@marcoastan While I have NOT used a tall tripod to help do a Matterport scan of a aircraft hanger, the way I would approach the project: 1. Scan normally for the walk around experience 2. Scan at the highest level that the tripod will allow to create a nice dollhouse view 3. In Workshop, Hide all scans used to create the nice dollhouse view Note: Yes. It might be easier to place the highest level scans on a "new floor" to keep track of where you have scanned. That said, "new floor" in Matterport Capture App does NOT create a new floor in the tour itself. Matterport processing would likely know that this normal and high scans are all on the same floor. Does that help? Dan P.S. Perhaps someone whom has used a tall tripod will chime in. P.P.S. If you have aircraft, normal scanning would also mean scanning above the wings so that the dollhouse does not see "black holes" in the aircraft.

	Hi, I want to scan a building like a hangar. The building has a high ceiling. The building has 2nd floor but only a part of the building. I think the case is more like this Should I scan twice in the same spot? how to reach the high ceiling? Thank you very much.

	I will use Matterport. Sadly I don't have BLK360 I found this scan in the hangar. My project will be like this.. so I should scan in 3 level? the 1st floor, half at 2nd floor and the 3rd floor use very tall tripod, Am I right? and then where I can hide the 3rd floor scan? Thanks Dan

	@marcoastan like Dan said I would over scan the main level. You may consider a higher tripod like this one https://www.amazon.com/ELEVATOR-ALUMINUM-TRIPOD-LASER-LEVEL/dp/B00CLLUX9O from Amazon. Depending on hieght of ceiling, this one less expensive but workable. You might consider renting a 15-20 scanner tripod. These are great for indoor work but not good exterior shots. Just a though.
