HI Members ... this question may have been answered but i cannot find it, or maybe i am scared to find it ... who knows : I am a Classic plan users .... i have been a user since before 9th May 2019. My plan is limited to 100 spaces... As my market is not the short term real estate but more the hospitality and tourism industry, there is a really few spaces i am deleting (hotels and tourism venues need their virtual tours for long term, meaning i do not stop increasing my number of spaces hosted) here is my question : if i need to increase my number of spaces (from 100 to 300 like proposed in the CLASSIC plan) will i be still considered as a classic customers for Matterport or when i will need to increase my number of spaces, will they force me to sign up for the new pricing plan ? ... (you understood, meaning an increase fo 500 % of my hosting costs) thanks a lot for your answers, thoughts or experiences on this topic. Best . Matt |

@WayanMatt Matterport will just add to your invoice. (You will receive an email from Matterport when you go over your limit letting you know that unless you reduce the models to your plan your plan will increase by 50 models and you will be charged $19 per month additional. (You're welcome ) Dan Screen Grab: (I just received this notice ) |

@WayanMatt Thought you would find this paragraph of interest. It's from Inman, tech media coverage for the real estate space. Inman (27 September 2019) New Matterport tech allows you to make 3D images with smartphone "In January, the company announced plans to open its platform to consumer cameras and drastically slashing prices for the subscription plans needed to host its tours, down from $50 to free for a starter plan. Pricing for Matterport 3D Capture for Smartphones was not immediately clear." Source: Inman Dan |

Dan, I agree with everyone here, your advice is so helpful to us all. One question from a recent invoice (if it's ok to keep this topic of costs going). Please let me know if I should start a new topic. We have been on the 200 space plan ($99/month) since we bought the camera back in 2016. Our recent invoice included an extra cost of $38 each for 3 spaces that were over 101 scans. I only scan show homes and they are always over 101 scans so I feel this extra cost is exorbitant/excessive plus we don't seem to have any correspondence advising the review of our costs. Is this something you are familiar with? I started to search the forum for a topic on this but haven't found anything as yet. Chris |
