WGAN-TV Short Story | GoThru Owner and CEO Alin Bugeag at the 2019 Google Street View Summit on Two “Blue Line” to Google Street View (Wednesday, 25 September 2019) Hi All, "For [Google Street View read-cameras] where the camera was not properly leveled, we have a piece of code that automatically levels your panoramas," said GoThru Owner and CEO Alin Bugeag at the 2019 Google Street View Summit in a WGAN-TV interview. The feature was first announced Wednesday (25 September 2019 at the Summit.) GoThru also announced new tools "dedicated for the publishing of 'blue lines' on Google [Street View]," said Alin. "For that we we have two approach: one where you can upload panoramas directly to GoThru and we will use the video pipeline on Google site, which pretty much means we convert the images into a video and we publish to Google and that turns into a blue line; or, you use a text or application, which is another new tool on GoThru, called the Street Builder, and you upload your 360s, you use the app to take out frames from your video, select whatever images you want, employ it to GoThru and then upload it to Google as a blue line." We've launch a few, new tools for GoThru, especially dedicated for the publishing of "blue lines" on Google [Street View]. For that we we have two approach: one where you can upload panoramas directly to GoThru and we will use the video pipeline on Google site, which pretty much means we convert the images into a video and we publish to Google and that turns into a blue line; or, you use a text or application, which is another new tool on GoThru, called the Street Builder, and you upload your 360s, you use the app to take out frames from your video, select whatever images you want, employ it to GoThru and then upload it to Google as a blue line. Sounds complicated but it's much more easier and it allows you...it gives you control of what is in that blue line. Other feature that we have, especially for 360 ready cameras where the camera was not properly leveled, we have a piece of code that automatically levels your panoramas. So yeah, that's a cool feature that we just launched today [Wednesday, 25 September 2019] |
