I felt pretty comfortable after doing my first one. It was pretty basic and I've picked up some tips and tricks here on the forum since. I've not gotten into some of the advanced solutions available on forum yet.

When I began three years ago, I shot 3-4 spaces (homes of friends) before I told clients I was ready to do this for hire. After three years shooting hundreds of spaces, I shot one a couple months ago which was initially so difficult to navigate that I needed ICU help from the MP tech team to fix. It turned out I had done nothing wrong, just that the particular house was extremely difficult to scan due to huge areas of floor-to-ceiling glass which acts as BOTH a window and a mirror. MP has no special markup for windows that act as mirrors. (model below) Bottom line, I'm still learning. It's degrading to hear sales people pitch MP as "charge it up, push the button and you're an expert!" which is far from the truth. Yeah, it may sell cameras, but it devalues the professional contributions of the very people who propel MP's reputation forward. |

One(my own garage) for practice. Even though my first client after that was my friend who needed it for his apartment rental business.

I did a clients home he was selling as a sample (empty home), came across an issue with passing through a door open in one and closed in another to be able to walk through the door. Still to this date (3 years) I'm still learning techniques to keep improving that sets me far apart from a couple agents in my town that now have the camera and don't know what they are doing.
