Hi All, The WGAN Forum Question of the Day for Tuesday, 20 August 2019. What was the longest that it took to shoot a Matterport 3D Tour? (I will start it off with my Matterport tour below that took 19 hours.) Best, Dan Matterport 3D Tour by We Get Around Network Photographer Dan Smigrod Ebenezer Baptist Church - a National Historic Site - took 19 hours over the course of three days to shoot. While the space was not huge, I did have to wait until visitors would not be in a scan (The dog in one scan was for a visually impaired staff member of this National Historic Site.) While I could have shot overnight, the stain glass windows are part of what makes this space special. This Matterport space was the first use of Matterport as a Journalistic Storytelling tool when it was used online by Creative Loafing in Atlanta in March 2019. |
