A few years back, I was able to access a 6x3 HD interactive video wall in Microsoft China and load one of our models. That was part 1 of my pursuit for a bigger MP showcase screen. I'm glad to share part 2 of this personal journey. Today I had access to a 13m (43ft) 12K curved LED screen at Microsoft HQ in Redmond, WA and I loaded a few models to see if they look 'immersive enough'. I think they do, would you agree? |

A 43' wall. Always look forward to what you are playing with on here. Did it feel a little creepy like being a peeking Tosolini, staring into a room that somewhat represents an actual size with nobody knowing you are there? On a serious note did you see any grain or haze like you would see with a Zillow 3D on computer screen that looks clean as day on a cellphone? |

@vtlv The dynamics with such a big screen are interesting. When viewed at the correct distance, which is 20ft or 6m, the image looked very crisp and you forgot you were in front of a multitude of LED tiles that covered the wall. The screen had a very low Pixel Pitch, which is the density of the pixels. It makes me guess that this installation must be extremely expensive. As you approached the screen, you could see the individual LEDs. Another learning is that there is only so much you can stretch a MP tour. In fact, when we ran it across all screens, the warping on the side was not acceptable. |
