I once called to do a 3D tour which in fact was an attempt by an agent to re-do the tour because their regular photographer who just bought a Pro2 did a very bad job for them. They at least found a way to hide a dollhouse which I know how to access anyway. They literally went one pass through $3M property and they were done....

It is important that Matterport on its own is successful. They will not cut out Matterport from platform competitors. For us Matterporters this can be a very good situation, if market players suddenly need the best 3D tour technology to stay on par with their competitors.

It sounds like members will get tours included with their membership, if so the math isn't in my favor. No way they'll pay a photographer market rate for a tour if that's their fee structure. Plus it sounds like they'll be subsidizing the camera and Matteport membership plan for they're photographers which will give them all the more reason to pay...

9 monthsFathom3D (144): If the acquisition goes through, MTTR stock won't exist anymore. Each share you hold will be bought from you for $2.75 in cash and $2.75 in CoStar stock, at whatever value CoStar stock has at the time. If you hold the CoStar stock, its value will be tied to the company overall, not just Matterport, which would be a division of CoStar. I have some MTTR shares that I'll probably hold until the acquisition. After that, who knows.
