Sorry, I saw an email come through the other day about recording your virtual tours on your screen. Now I have a few minutes to give it a go, and can't find the post. Can anyone point me in the right direction to find it please? I've searched both my email and the forum here and can't find it! | ||

@eggardner In this WGAN Forum discussion ... @DannyBasting writes: I'd recommend using OBS. It's free and by far the best screen-capture software I've ever used. I use it for all my VR recordings as well and it's always super smooth. @DaveFahrny writes: I use Snagit by TechSmith. Snagit is a great tool to have and the screen capture is easy and works great Still search for more options ... Dan |

@eggardner In this WGAN Forum discussion... @Marcel writes: Most software video capture apps only capture at a low fps which leaves the video a bit laggy. For best results use a GPU accelerated H.264 video encoder like nVidia Shadowplay. Obviously you need an external graphic card. I'm a huge gaming fan so this is not a problem for me In this WGAN Forum discussion ... @VTLV writes: Looks like Techsmith Capture App could work with Snagit. ... IceCream Screen Recorder being suggest to make additional Teazers or GIfs. Has anyone used the IceCream software giving it a thumbs up or down? The page looks a little iffy for me on the Free Downloads. I currently use ScreenCast-O-Matic Pro to make a video. Then go over to EzGif to make an animated gif. Would this software be able to record straight to Gif? Does their version leave a logo like the free version of ScreenCast-O-Matic? --- Dan |

@eggardner Matterport suggests "Loom, which is a browser extension for Chrome (both Windows and Mac platforms)." Also from Matterport: Best, Dan |

Perfect - thanks, Dan! I've actually done this one before with Camtasia (from Techsmith), but wanted to see how this tutorial differed, if at all! Thanks again! |

@eggardner I recall that Camtasia is the software of choice of WGAN Forum Members whom have posted on this topic in the past.... Please do share an example and the tools you decided to use to create it. Best, Dan |
