I have a link to a large manufacturing company who has been looking for a 3D point cloud software to model their odd shaped industrial equipment. Their problem is this: These large industrial equipment are manufactured in the USA but sold and shipped all over the world. Their customers often have old industrial facilities and they need to measure very carefully if these new machines will fit. A point cloud 3D software would help in fitting the machines into their places. Anyone run into a similar problem? Any recommendations? |
