| Video: Shop Talk 55: Matterport Digital Twin Platform: 2023 and Beyond | Video courtesy of Matterport YouTube Channel | 6 December 2023 Beta December 2023: Preview Matterport Dollhouse View in Capture App Hi All, Preview Matterport Dollhouse view -- while scanning -- in the Matterport Capture App is coming soon, says Matterport VP, Product Preethy Vaidyanathan in the Matterport video (above: starting at 12:51) Matterport presently refers to this feature as: 3D Minimap -- "helps you understand and monitor progress while you scan," according to a Matterport slide in the video. 3D Minimap will also work on Matterport scans that were done before this feature gets released (including Matterport models via Matterport Cloud Restore. | Keep them coming MatterPort. This will defiantly make capturing more interesting. I would love a feature to generate an animated gif or video while scanning, which would be great for social posts. |
