Hello, Just starting out and have signed up to the Basic subscription. However, can someone please clarify how the hosting works in terms of fees. I understand that I have 3 free models per month. Thereafter what will I be paying to host the models that follow i.e. 4, 5, 6 etc... I've also read some threads suggesting free hosting for the first 6 months then charge a renewal fee. In terms of real estate it would make sense to terminate the service with the realtor once the property has sold, right? Thanks in advance everyone! |

It's not the hosting that you pay additional for but rather the model processing. With your plan you will have to pay $49 each month and you will be able to process 3 models at no additional cost. Whether or not you process any models at all you'll have to pay the base price. If you process additional models it will be $19 US for every additional model you process. As far as hosting goes, you will be limited to 100 hosted models on that basic account. | ||

Hi, Thanks for the clarification. I think I will include free hosting for residential properties until the property is sold as the $19 per model for processing is really minimal. For the other stuff i.e. rental properties, retail, restaurants etc I will have to limit this to 12 months free hosting, then the option to renew thereafter at an additional fee. You mentioned the limit of 100 models on the basic account, is that per annum or for the entire life cycle of the account? Cheers. |

@leeverdon - Life cycle. You can host 100 total - if you ran out of space, you could start deleting them - or upgrade. I do know that if you had a particular client who you hosted a large # of tours for, that they could get their own account. If you had a client, for instance, with 50 tours. Well - I know that Matterport would be able to work with you on setting up a new account and moving those tours there. They'd then pay $100/mo - which is reasonable when you consider it's $2/tour to keep it online. |
