Im going to test this today. Is it possible to shoot a MP walkthrough and create the 3D Model, AND use the insta360 for the 360 shots? Use Case - If the stand-alone 360's needs to be in a small space that requires a smaller camera and smaller tripod. And, I want the insta360's to be in the highlight reel. So, it needs to be in the same uploaded MP files. Has anyone tried this? I could shoot the whole project w/insta360. But thats a pain! Hiding from the camera when using insta360 for this big of a project would be grueling. |

@BlueImmersiveMedia Yes. I do this with the Z1 from time to time ~ I use this process for connecting structures from time to time simply swap cameras in the wifi settings and continue scanning as normal |

The insta360 will however have a noticeable grain especially in lower light environments

@lilnitsch Thank you for sharing this. So interesting, I haven't played with the use of Z1 with MP yet. So all the outside spaces are Z1... so you continued to built the MP scan, then connected the Z1?! I guess I didnt realize that you can stitch the MP and Z1 files togther? Then you used the trim tool too? Im so intrigued by this process! |

@BlueImmersiveMedia You can bounce back and forth between any of the supported cameras ~ The Z1 just happens to be the best quality out of the supported 360 cameras |

For my 1972-R scan above I completely scan the interior with one of my Pro2's then overlapped a couple scan positions (for alignment) with the Z1 then continued my model with the Z1

@BlueImmersiveMedia Not a problem ~ I have the Insta360 one X ~ I just wasn't impressed with the quality within the Matterport EcoSystem |

@lilnitsch This was shot completely Insta360? I have the Theta V and Insta360. I havent replaced the MP with either. However, I am eager to supplement some MP shoots with the Theta. LOL. I see your MP camera pouting in the corner! |

@BlueImmersiveMedia The V has better image quality than the Insta360 but can suffer from the "red dot" lens flare in some lighting scenarios |
